  • YouTube降低頻道會員功能的標準

YouTube’s creator-level subscriptions are called channel memberships, where fans can pay a monthly fee to access exclusive videos and streams as well as chat features for their favourite channels. Until now, you have needed to have at least 5,000 subscribers (followers) to your channel before you can launch a paid channel membership. Now that bar has been dropped to 1,000 subscribers in 80 countries around the world.
This should open up the feature to a lot more independent musicians, as well as vloggers, gamers, fashion and beauty influencers etc.
The move follows what YouTube says has been a strong year for adoption of the feature. “In 2020, YouTube creators earned over 4x as much revenue from channel memberships compared to 2019,” it revealed in its blog post announcing the requirements change.
